UEFA Champions League, Match Day 2, Part 1

Here is a brief recap of Tuesday’s match day 2 UEFA Champions League action. Barcelona, who didn’t have Messi due to an injury that will keep him out for two months, were trailing a strong Bayer Leverkusen side, 1-0 all the way up until the 80th minute when Sergi Roberto scored to level it. Then in the 82nd minute Luis Suarez netted to snatch the three points for Barca. Arsenal lost again, this time to Olympiakos, 3-2. BATE Borisov shocked Roma, beating them 3-2. Bayern Munich clobbered Dinamo Zagreb, 5-0, with Robert Lewandowski scoring a hat-trick. FC Porto were 2-1 victors over Chelsea. Sofiane Feghouli’s goal was enough to give Valencia the win against Olympique Lyon. Maccabi Tel-Aviv fell 2-0 to Dynamo Kiev. Zenit were victorious against KAA Gent, 2-1. That’s all for Tuesday’s match day 2 UEFA Champions League matches.
