La Blaugrana find themselves down by quite a wide margin yet again and will need another miracle if they are to advance to the next round. Monaco defeated Dortmund 3-2, with Real Madrid target Kylian Mbappe netting twice. Antoine Griezmann’s controversial penalty gave Atletico a 1-0 victory over underdogs Leicester. Cristiano Ronaldo helped Real Madrid come back from 1-0 down to beat Bayern Munich, 2-1, scoring both goals and becoming the first ever player to score 100 European goals. Well, that’s all for the first legs of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals. Don’t forget to check out the second legs next week to see who will be advancing to the semi-finals.
