UEFA Champions League, Match Day 6, Part 2

Here is a brief recap of the match day 6 UEFA Champions League results from Wednesday. Monaco suffered their first defeat in ten matches at the hands of Bayer Leverkusen, 3-0. Tottenham defeated CSKA Moscow 3-1 to secure a spot in the Europa League. Legia Warsaw just edged Sporting, 1-0. Dortmund came back from 2-0 down to tie Real Madrid 2-2, finishing first in Group F. Copenhagen beat Club Brugge, 2-0. FC Porto thrashed Leicester, 5-0. Dinamo Zagreb fell 2-0 to Juventus and Lyon and Sevilla drew, 0-0. Well, the group stages of this year’s UEFA Champions League have come to a close. Half of the original 32 clubs have been eliminated. Soon the remaining 16 will clash in the first round of the playoffs. The UCL will return on February 14.
