UEFA Champions League, Match Day 1, Part 2

Here is a brief recap of Wednesday’s match day one UEFA Champions League action. Sergio Agüero’s hat-trick helped Manchester City to an easy 4-0 victory over Borussia Monchengladbach. Bayer Leverkusen drew 2-2 with CSKA Moscow. Tottenahm fell 2-1 to AS Monaco. Borussia Dortmund demolished Legia Warsaw, 6-0 with six different players scoring. Real Madrid came back from 1-0 down to beat Sporting Lisbon, 2-1 thanks to two very late goals from Ronaldo and Morata. Leicester were 3-0 victors over Club Brugge in their first ever UCL match. FC Porto and FC Copenhagen tied 1-1. Although their 16 shots, Jueventus only managed to draw with Sevilla, 0-0. Lyon cruised to a 3-0 win against Dinamo Zagreb. The 2016/17 UCL season is off and running with one match day down.

The world’s must anticipated club tournament is back. From now until March 6, 2017 32 teams will battle to become the champion of Europe. The UEFA Champions League has begun. If you missed any of the match day one action that took place on Tuesday, here’s a brief recap. FC Basel and Ludogorets drew 1-1. After conceding in the first minute to PSG, Arsenal recovered to draw, 1-1. Besiktas tied Benfice 1-1 thanks to Talisca’s stoppage time goal. Arkadiusz Milik’s brace helped Napoli to a 2-1 victory over Dynamo Kiev. Barcelona pounded Celtic 7-0 with Lionel Messi netting a hat-trick. Bayern Munich crushed Rostov, 5-0. Last year’s runners up, Atletico Madrid just edged PSV, 1-0.
