English Premier League, Match Day 31

This match day two huge derbies took place, the Tyne-Wear (Newcastle vs Sunderland) and the Manchester (Manchester United vs Manchester City). If you missed any of it, here is a brief recap. Arsenal defeated Everton 2-0. Cesc Fàbregas’s 89th minute goal salvaged a point for Chelsea against West Ham; the final score was 2-2. Leicester City beat Crystal Palace, 1-0. Watford fell 2-1 to Stoke. Norwich just edged West Brom, 1-0. Swansea were victorious versus Aston Villa thanks to Federico Fernández’s solo goal in the 53rd minute. Southampton came back from 2-0 down to beat Liverpool 3-2. Tottenham crushed Bournemouth, 3-0. Sunderland drew 1-1 with Newcastle in the Tyne-Wear derby. As for the Manchester derby, rising star, Marcus Rashford stole the spotlight, netting the winner (which happened to be the only goal) for Manchester United. Well, that’s all for match day 31’s EPL action.
