Here is a brief recap of the Premier League matches that took place on match day 26. David De Gea’s own goal (which he couldn’t do much about) gave Sunderland a 2-1 win over the Red Devils. Stoke City cruised to a 3-1 victory against Bournemouth. Watford defeated Crystal Palace 2-1 thanks to Troy Deeney’s 82nd minute goal. Everton fell 1-0 to West Brom. West Ham came back from 2-0 down to tie Norwich 2-2. Southampton beat Swansea, 1-0. Chelsea expanded their unbeaten streak (in all competitions) to 12 matches, clobbering Newcastle, 5-1. Liverpool rolled over Aston Villa, beating them 6-0. Danny Welbeck’s goal in the final minute of stoppage time assured Arsenal a vital 2-1 win versus fellow title contenders Leicester.
