English Premier League, Match Day 18, Boxing Day

Boxing Day, one of the biggest match days in the EPL. All 10 matches are played on that one day. This time of year is when teams’ depth is tested, causing the table to change dramatically. Anything can happen. If you missed the action, here is a brief recap. Manchester United fell for the fourth straight time (in the EPL), 2-1 against Stoke. Bournemouth drew 0-0 with Crystal Palace. Watford tied with Chelsea, 1-1. Aston Villa gathered a much needed point versus West Ham; the final score was 1-1. Liverpool handed Leicester a 1-0 loss, which is only the Foxes second this season. Manchester City destroyed Sunderland, 4-1. Ki Sung-Yeung’s solo goal gave Swansea a vital victory over West Brom. Harry Kane scored a brace as Tottenham dispatched Norwich, 3-0. Everton beat Newcastle 1-0 thanks to Tom Cleverley’s stoppage time goal. Southampton shocked Arsenal, steamrolling them 4-0. Well, that’s all for Boxing Day.
