English Premier League, Match Day 9

Here is a brief recap of match day 9’s EPL action. Jurgen Klopp drew his first game as Liverpool manager 0-0 against Tottenham. Chelsea beat a struggling Aston Villa side, 2-0. Manuel Lanzini and Dimitri Payet’s late goals gave West Ham United a 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace. Manchester United won 3-0 against Everton. Manchester City destroyed Bournemouth, 5-1 with Raheem Sterling netting a hat-trick. Leicester City came back from 2-0 down to tie Southampton 2-2. West Brom beat Sunderland thanks to Saido Berahino’s solo goal in the 54th minute. Arsenal dominated Watford, crushing them 3-0. Georginio Wijnaldum hit four past Norwich’s keeper as Newcastle steamrolled the Canaries, 6-2. Bojan Krkic’s 4th minute penalty conversion was enough to give Stoke the victory over Swansea.
