After going 1-0 down Arsenal came back to destroy Leicester, 5-2, with Alexis Sanchez scoring a hat-trick. Liverpool beat Aston Villa, 3-2. Wayne Rooney ended his eleven game goal drought in the EPL as Manchester United crushed a struggling Sunderland side, 3-0. Southampton won 3-1 against Swansea. Bournemouth fell 2-1 to Stoke City. West Ham United tied Norwich 2-2, thanks to Cheikhou Kouyaté’s goal in stoppage time. Ramires and Willian both scored late goals to salvage a point for Chelsea against Newcastle United; the final score was 2-2. Crystal Palace were 1-0 victors over Watford.
