The 2015/16 UEFA Champions League has begun. Where smaller teams look to prove themselves and giants try to add titles their name. It’s sure to be an exciting tournament. If you missed this momentous occasion below I have provided a brief recap of the results. PSG dominated Malmo FF and deservedly won, 2-0. Cristiano Ronaldo is off to a good start, scoring a hat-trick (two of which were penalties) in Real Madrid’s 4-0 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk. PSV upset Manchester United, beating them 2-1. To make matters worse for the Reds (Man U), Luke Shaw suffered a serious injury in the 15th minute and probably won’t be returning any time soon. Benfica were 2-0 victors over FC Astana. Wolfsburg beat CSKA Moscow 1-0. Antoine Griezmann netted both goals in Atletico Madrid’s 2-0 win against Galatasaray. Alvaro Morata’s 81st minute cracker (a spectacular goal) gave Juventus the 2-1 win over City and all three points in a hard fought match. Borussia Monchengladbach were crushed 3-0 by Sevilla. That’s all for Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League action. Make sure you check out UEFA Champions League, Match Day 1, Part 2 for Wednesday’s action.
