2015 Summer Transfers

The 2015 summer transfer window has come to a close. This post is to keep you up to date on which players moved and where they moved. Chelsea veteran, Petr Cech (goalie) transferred to Arsenal. Pedro (Barcelona) moved to Chelsea. Radamel Falcao will also be playing for Chelsea in the coming season, but is only on loan from Monaco. Liverpool bought strikers Roberto Firmino (Brazil International) and Christian Benteke (Belgium International) for a combined total of 87.5 million euros. They also received 2014-15 breakout star Danny Ings on a free transfer as well as Southampton center-back, Nathaniel Clyne for 17.6 million euros. Manchester City signed Kevin De Bruyne from Wolfsburg for a whopping 76 million euros and Liverpool’s Raheem Sterling for 69.4 million euros. Valencia center-back Nicolas Otamendi was transferred to the Citizens (Manchester City) too. Manchester United spent 156.25 million euros on Argentina keeper Sergio Romero, rising star Memphis Depay, Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, World Cup winner Bastian Schweinsteiger, Monaco striker Anthony Martial, and Italy international Matteo Darmian. Jackson Martinez moved from FC Porto to Atletico Madrid for a fee of 35 million euros. Liverpool loaned Mario Balotelli to AC Milan. Fenerbahce signed Manchester United striker and Dutch International Robin van Persie. Angel Di Maria transferred to PSG from Manchester United. Arturo Vidal moved from Juventus to Bayern Munich.
