UEFA Champions League, Semi-Finals, First and Second Legs

Here is a brief recap of the first legs of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals. Juventus stunned Real Madrid, beating them 2-1 (first leg). Barcelona destroyed Bayern Munich, 3-0, with Lionel Messi netting a brace (first leg).

Now for the second legs. Cristiano Roanldo converted a penalty in the 23rd minute to put Real Madrid ahead of Juventus in the match and on aggregate, but in the 57th minute former Real player, Álvaro Morata, scored to tie the match and send the Old Lady (Juventus) through to the UEFA Champions League Final (on aggregate). Bayern beat Barcelona, 3-2, but it wasn’t enough to send them through. Barcelona advanced on aggregate (which was 5-3) and will play Juventus on June 6th in Berlin to decide who will take home the trophy.
