English Premier League, Match Day 31

Here is a brief recap of match day 31’s Premier League action. Liverpool were stunned by Arsenal who crushed them 4-1. The Gunners (Arsenal) are now 2nd in the table. Tim Howard had an outstanding performance in Everton’s 1-0 win against Southampton, making multiple important saves. Andy King netted his first goal of his career in the 86th minute to give Leicester the three points over West Ham United. Hull City lost to Swansea City, 1-3. QPR beat West Brom 4-1 to pull them within two points of escaping the relegation zone. Ander Herrera scored a brace for Manchester United in their 3-1 victory over Aston Villa. League leaders Chelsea beat Stoke City, 2-1; Stoke’s one goal was scored by Charlie Adam who shot from inside his own half and scored! Tottenham drew 0-0 with Burnley. Sunderland beat Newcastle United 1-0, with their only goal coming from Jermain Defoe’s spectacular volley from outside of the box. That’s all for match day 31’s Premier League action.
