Struggling Aston Villa lost again, this time 1-0 to Newcastle United. Stoke City beat Hull City, 1-0. Sadio Berahino helped West Brom to a win over Southampton and three points, scoring the only goal of the game in the 2nd minute. Manchester City and Liverpool faced off in a huge game, which Liverpool came out of 2-1 victors. Arsenal beat Everton 2-0 to pull themselves up to third in the table.
