Here is a brief recap of match day 26’s Premier League action. Although going 1-0 down to Aston Villa in the 20th minute, Stoke City were able to get the three points due to an equalizing goal in the 45th minute and a converted penalty in the 93rd. Burnley were extremely lucky to tie Chelsea, 1-1. There were multiple penalty shouts from Chelsea and at least one should have been given. Arsenal surprisingly had a quite a bit of trouble in their match against Crystal Palace, but were able to win 2-1. Hull City scored in the 89th minute to beat QPR, 2-1. Sunderland and West Brom drew 0-0. Swansea City shocked Manchester United, beating them 2-1. Manchester City clobbered Newcastle United, 5-0, bringing them within only five points of league leaders Chelsea. West Ham United and Tottenham faced off in a heated London Derby. West Ham United were winning 2-0 up until the 81st minute when Danny Rose netted to bring the Spurs (https://touchline80.wordpress.com/2015/02/15/epl-teams-nicknames/) within one. Then in the 95th minute, Harry Kane was brought down in the box (penalty). Kane missed the penalty, but calmly slotted in the rebound to salvage a point for Tottenham. Leicester City tied Everton, 2-2. Liverpool were 2-0 victors over Southampton. Southampton were unlucky to have not been awarded a penalty kick though.
