Here is a brief recap of match day 24’s Premier League action. Tottenham faced Arsenal in the North London Derby and although going down in the 11th minute, they won, 2-1, with a in-form Harry Kane netting both goals. Chelsea defeated a struggling Aston Villa, 2-1, widening their lead above second place Manchester City in the table to seven points. Joe Ledley scored the only goal of the game to help Crystal Palace beat Leicester City. Hull City were surprisingly beating Manchester City, until the 92nd minute when James Milner salvaged a point for the Citizens (Manchester City). Sadio Mane netted in the 93rd minute to get the three points for Southampton over QPR (the final score was 1-0 Southampton). Sunderland and Swansea City drew, 1-1. Liverpool tied 1-1 with Everton in the Merseyside Derby. West Brom came back from 2-0 down to tie with Burnley, 2-2. When Jack Colback scored in the 74th minute Newcastle surely thought they were going to win, but in the 90th minute Stoke City’s Peter Crouch netted to save his team a point. Despite Manchester United’s terrible performance, they drew 1-1 with West Ham United due to a late goal by Daley Blind. Well, that’s all for match day 24.
