Here is a brief recap of match day 23’s Premier League action. Newcastle United crushed Hull, 3-0. Romelu Lukaku netted in the 2nd minute to give Everton the three points over Crystal Palace. Raheem Sterling and Daniel Sturridge both hit the back of the net in Liverpool’s 2-0 win over West Ham United. Manchester United didn’t have too much trouble with Leicester City and won 3-1. Johnathon Walters lead Stoke City to a 3-1 win over QPR, scoring all three goals. Struggling Burnley fell to a struggling Sunderland, 2-0. Tottenham cruised to an easy 3-0 victory over West Brom. First place Chelsea battled second place Manchester City in one of the biggest games of the season. Loic Remy scored in the 41st minute to put the Blues (Chelsea) ahead. Four minutes later David Silva tied the game. Both teams had a few more chances, but in the end each went home with a point. Arsenal absolutely destroyed Aston Villa, winning 5-0! Jonjo Shelvey scored a spectacular goal to ensure that Swansea went home with three points against Southampton; the final score was 1-0. That’s all for match day 23’s Premier League action!
