It’s the holiday season and the games are coming fast and furious. Here is a brief recap of match day 17’s Premier League games. Manchester City dominated Crystal Palace and deservedly won 3-0. Although Manchester United had sixteen shots and 65% possession, they were only able to tie Aston Villa, 1-1. Ki Sung-Yeung netted his third goal of the season to give Swansea City a 1-0 win over Hull. Charlie Austin scored a hat trick as QPR came back from 2-0 down to beat West Brom, 3-2. Southampton crushed Everton, 3-0. Erik Lamela scored an absolute cracker as Tottenham beat Burnley, 2-1. West Ham United were 2-0 victors in their match against Leicester City. Adam Johnson scored late to give Sunderland the 1-0 win over Newcastle United. Arsenal were leading Liverpool 2-1 up until the seventh minute of stoppage time when Martin Skrtel netted a fantastic header to salvage a point for Liverpool. John Terry and Cesc Fabergas both scored as Chelsea beat Stoke City, 2-0. That’s all for match day 17’s Premier League action.
