Here is a brief recap of the games played on match day 16 in the EPL. Burnley shocked Southampton, beating them 1-0, but the game would’ve ended 1-1 if Tom Heaton (Burnley’s goalkeeper) hadn’t saved a penalty in the 60th minute. Diego Costa and Eden Hazard both netted as Chelsea won 2-0 over Hull City. Crystal Palace and Stoke City drew, 1-1. Frank Lampard scored the only goal in Manchester City’s 1-0 win over Leicester City. Over at the Stadium of Light, Sunderland drew 1-1 with West Ham. 10-man Aston Villa lost 1-0 against West Brom. In the Manchester United Liverpool rivalry David De Gea (Man U’s goalie) and Antonio Valencia (Man U’s right midfielder) both played exceptionally well as the Red Devils (Man U) won, 3-0.
