UEFA Champions League, Week 4, Part 1

Here is a brief recap of Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League action. Son Heung-Min netted a brace to lead Bayer Leverkusen to a 2-1 win. Arsenal were 3-0 up on Anderlecht by the 58th minute and it looked like they would win comfortably, but somehow Anderlecht came back to tie, 3-3 (the goals for Anderlecht came in the  61st, 73rd, and 90th minutes). AS Monaco lost 1-0 to Benfica. Borussia Dortmund cruised to a 4-1 win over Galatasaray and have now qualified for the knockout round of the tournament. FC Basel crushed underdogs Ludogorets, 4-0. Olympiakos were leading Juventus 2-1, but then their goalkeeper scored an own goal (nothing he could do about it) and a minute later Paul Pogba put Juventus 3-2 in front with a great volley! Juventus went on to win 3-2. Atletico Madrid easily beat Malmo FF, 2-0. Real Madrid dominated Liverpool and won, 1-0, and they will be joining Dortmund in the next round. That’s all for Tuesday’s action, but their will be more tomorrow!
