English Premier League, Match Day 7

Here is a brief recap of this past weeks English Premier League matches. Hull City dominated against Crystal Palace. After they went up, 1-0, in the 60th minute they then sealed the win in the 88th minute. Burnley were down, 2-1, at halftime, but they didn’t stop believing and Ross Wallace scored a free kick in the sixth minute of extra time to tie the match. An in-form West Brom were looking to take down a struggling Liverpool side. Liverpool had other plans though and they won, 2-1. Although Stoke City had more shots Sunderland crushed them, 3-1. Papiss Demba Cisse netted twice against Swansea giving Newcastle a much needed point (they tied, 2-2). Manchester City scored two late goals (the goalscorers were Yaya Touré and Sergio Agüero) to earn a vital three points against Aston Villa. Manchester United were able to hold on to a 2-1 lead to beat Everton due to some brilliant goalkeeping from David De Gea. Chelsea continued their winning streak against Arsenal with a comfortable 2-0 win. Christian Eriksen lead Tottenham to a 1-0 win against The Saints (Southampton). QPR lost to West Ham, 2-0, and are still in last place. That’s all for Match Day 7 and make sure to check back next weekend so you can keep up with the action!
