Here is a recap of the rest of week one in the 2014/15 UEFA Champions League. AS Roma dominated CSKA Moscow and it showed on the scoreline, they won, 5-1.  Manchester City held Bayern Munich to 0-0 for eighty-nine minutes, but in the 90th minute the former Man City player, Jerome Boateng scored a spectacular volley to win the game for Bayern. Ajax were able to snatch a point from PSG. After going 1-0 down in the 14th minute they equalized in the 74th minute off a free kick. Athletic Bilbao played to a 0-0 draw against Shakhtar Donetsk in Bilbao. Although Barcelona dominated their match against Apoel, they were only able to put one goal in the back of the net. Over at Stamford Bridge Chelsea let an early 1-0 lead slip and they ended up tying Schalke 04, 1-1. BATE Borisov were pulverized away from home by FC Porto who won 6-0! Nani put Sporting Lisbon in the lead against NK Maribor in the 80th minute and it looked like they would win. Sadly (for Sporting), NK Maribor pounced on a defensive mistake and scored in the 90th minute to salvage a point. Week one has come to an end and we’ll have to wait until Tuesday to see what happens next!
