Columbia crushed Uruguay, who were without superstar Luis Suarez, in their first match of the knockout rounds. James Rodríguez opened the scoring in the 28th minute with an amazing volley that was off the crossbar and in (I think it was the goal of the tournament) to put, Columbia ahead. Uruguay had no answer and James Rodríguez scored again to make him the top scorer in the World Cup (5 goals)! Suarez was certainly missed and that may have had a big impact on Uruguay’s performance. Columbia will now be advancing to the quarter finals (they will play Brazil).
